Making a brand connection

USB has been the go-to connector for many years, their indispensable plugs connecting our gadgets without fail. We were challenged with creating logos for their new products at launch, as well as year after year of high profile advertising campaigns.


Sophisticated and flexible

When USB launched high-speed wireless, we built on their existing brand equity, yet evolved their logo to reflect the new plug-less technology. The resulting logo is sophisticated and flexible. When they launched SuperSpeed USB with 10x the data transfer rate of Hi-Speed USB, we used arrows in the new logo to communicate speed and show that the increased transfer rate applies in both directions.

Promoting the USB brand

As a long term partner of USB, we have had the opportunity to develop several ad campaigns targeted at various consumer audiences, all geared to promote their brand and evolving technology. We created separate campaigns for the USB brand and their specific technologies. Full page print ads are currently running in major technology and in-flight publications.
